Dr. Wes Wickwar, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT
Wes is the owner/founder of Accelacare Physical Therapy. He graduated from Wichita State University with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2002 and later received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. Wes received his bachelor's degree from Pittsburg State University majoring in biology. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2006 upon completing the Manual Therapy Institute program. Wes is well trained in throwing mechanics and return to sport throwing programs and has a strong interest in the role of the nervous system with musculoskeletal disorders.
In his spare time, Wes loves spending time with his wife and their two children. He also enjoys watching football, watching Jayhawks basketball, and playing basketball.
Dr. Angela M. Reich, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT
Angela is the clinic director at Accelacare Physical Therapy. Angela graduated from Creighton University in 2009 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She studied kinesiology at Kansas State University and graduated with her Bachelor's in 2006. Angela became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2013 upon completing the program through The Manual Therapy Institute. Angela has also focused her studies on women's health including treatment of pelvic pain and incontinence. She is a certified ASTYM provider as well.
Angela loves spending time with her husband, her son and daughter. She has two Aussies, Zoey and Gus. She enjoys traveling, watching K-State sports, and playing intramural volleyball and softball.
Dr. Bryan Barker, PT, DPT, OCS
Bryan brings a breadth of knowledge to our Accelacare team! He completed an orthopedic residency program and obtained his Orthopedic Certified-Specialist (OCS) exam. Additionally, he has began coursework towards earning his fellowship in Manual Therapy from the Manual Therapy Institute. Bryan earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Angelo State University.
Bryan has his Dry Needling Certification and is one of the only providers to earn this certification in the area. He is also an avid runner and feels that the runners in southwest Kansas benefit when they know how to warm up correctly, utilize good form and understand how to rehabilitate. He is a Road Running Clubs of America Certified Coach and loves Chicago sports and the Wisconsin Badgers!
Korey is from Derby, Kansas and grew up in Texas. He first was introduced to Accelacare as a student when he did a rotation in the summer of 2016. Korey received his doctorate of physical therapy in the spring of 2017 from Wichita State University. Korey chose physical therapy as a business student because he hated sitting behind a desk and working on a computer. He found a spark in personal training that led him to physical therapy. He joined Accelacare in the summer of 2017.
His hobbies include hiking, mountain biking, work out, power lift, volunteer at the Humane Society, golf, read and spend time with friends.
Tarryn joined Accelacare in summer 2017. She is from Hays, Kansas. She attended Wichita State University, where she received her bachelors degree in exercise science and her doctorate of physical therapy. Tarryn first found Accelacare as a student when she did a clinical rotation here. She picked physical therapy in high school because she wanted to work in the health care field and help people get better.
Tarryn’s hobbies include camping, swimming, following professional bull riding, cuddling her dog, getting involved at her church and enjoying time with her family.
In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her husband, their two sons and her 4 grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading and making jewelry.
Megan joined Accelacare in May 2017 as our Marketing Director. She previously worked at the Garden City Telegram as the Design/Digital Editor where she spent nearly 3 years writing stories, and handling their social media and website. Megan oversees our social media accounts, videos, sponsorships, advertising, events, campaigns, presentations, seminars, media, public relations, community integration and the newsletter. She said she loves working at Accelacare because there’s always something new to do and it’s a great work environment with excellent staff and patients.
Megan enjoys traveling with her husband, participating in 5Ks, gardening, shopping and cooking.
Danielle Stubblefield, Office Manager
Danielle is a Garden City native and graduated from Garden City High School. She has worked in a pharmacy as a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician and worked several years in a physicians medical office for the past several years before joining the Accelacare Team in September 2013. She is responsible for scheduling, answering phones, medical records, verifying insurance benefits, working with case managers for workers compensation authorization.
Danielle spends her time with her husband and friends, and their spoiled Jack Russell Terrier named Sadie. In her spare time, she enjoys taking her dog for walks, and spending time with family and friends, and shopping.
Misha Hernandez, Patient Intake Coordinator
Misha joined Accelacare in July 2017. She is a patient intake coordinator, so she assists patients, answers the phone and handles paperwork. Misha previously worked at Plaza Medical. She is a sister to Danielle Hernandez who also works at Accelacare and is a fun addition to the staff.
Misha, who is from Garden City, enjoys traveling, watching Netflix and spending time with family.
Sara Esquivel, Rehabilitation Technician
Sara Esquivel joined the Accelacare team in late 2015. She is a talented Rehab Tech who is bilingual. She is a Spanish interpreter when needed in the clinic. She enjoys helping people and loves working in her role in our clinic.
She enjoys spending time with her three children, shopping, listening to music and traveling.
Manuel Guzman, Rehabilitation Technician
Garden City native Manuel Guzman joined Accelacare in January 2017. He is one of our physical therapy technicians who assists the physical therapists in the clinic and he also oversees the WorkSteps pre-employment testing room, where he administers the testing. Manuel has a bachelors in kinesiology in exercise science from Kansas State University and is certified in CPR and personal training.
Manuel enjoys playing soccer and basketball, lifting weights, spending time with his Huskies and helping people better themselves.
Veronica Enriquez, Rehabilitation Technician
Veronica is a Registered Medical Assistant who is one of our talented Rehab Technicians! She joined Accelacare in early 2015. Her focus is on helping our patients recover and return to a more active lifestyle and assisting with Spanish translation whenever needed.
Veronica likes Accelacare because she gets to see a lot of people and hear all their different stories. When telling those stories, the patients have so many different things to say.
